Discovery: Identify Purpose of the Site and Client Goals

Design the Look and Feel - Do you have a vision of what the site should look like?
We will share our initial concepts with you so that you can help us to fine tune the design. We do not start the development phase until have approved our design approach to your site. Below are some of things that you will see in the concept review:

Development
Once you approve the graphic renderings of your new website design, the programming and coding of all the text and pages is done.
Client Review and Feedback
We’ve completed the initial build, now what? This is where you the client gets to test drive your website or application. We give a secure access to the staging environment for your site so that you can interact with your site and provide us with fine tuning feedback or even tell us where we may have missed it.
Feedback is incorporated into the Revision Phase and implemented. If the changes are a departure from the agreed scope, we will discuss budget and timing impact with you the client and move forward in a mutually agreed upon direction.
Testing Phase
Once the programming is completed and all the feedback has been completed, we will take your website or web application through a thorough functional review and testing process. During this phase we are looking for functional defects, layout concerns across different browsers and devices. Any bugs or issues identified in the review process are address and validated. does a thorough walk-through of the site to ensure that the desired functionality has been achieved
Digital Marketing
Search optimization of content (If achieving high rankings on search engines is important to you, you need your website content optimized for the keywords that people use on search engines to find your products or services.)

Deployment to Production
Once a project has gone through all of the above steps and secured approved from our internal team and you the client, we prepare the site for deployment to the production environment where it will live.
During the Discovery Phase of the project, we identify where the site will live, either in a site to ensure that the desired functionality has been achieved. Once you are satisfied with all aspects of the site, Thompson Designs will load your web files onto the web server of your choice.
